All women should get papsmears?

Fact Or Fiction: All women should get papsmears?

Fiction: Women under 21 should not be getting papsmears. Women who have had hysterectomies for benign reasons also don’t need to continue with papsmears. ACOG is very “gray” on when women can stop getting papsmears; i.e., between the ages of 65-70 and having met a lot of other criteria(I do believe I also blogged about this. Perhaps we can hyperlink to that post as well?)
